Ishigaki Triathlon (2009)
Every April Ishigaki island hosts a world cup triathlon event. This album contains a selection of photos of the 2009 triathlon which I took with my 70-300mm Sigma.Hounensai
In terms of traditional festivals 'Hounensai' is probably the most important event on Ishigaki's calendar. They are held throughout Ishigaki during a week in the summer and you should really try to catch one if you're lucky enough to be on the island at the time. The album contains shots which I took of the 2009 festivals.Butterflies
Ishigaki has an enourmous diversity of butterflies and 'banna park' is on of the best places to find them. All of these shots were taken with a Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro lens.
